FANTASTIC SPRING PERFORMANCES

Cudos to my fantastic actors and actresses, as well as my wonderful teachers, for awesome performances yesterday at the Howard County Center of the Arts! Pictures of these amazing performances will be posted soon!

Veterans Elementary School

Drama Kids students at Veterans Elementary School will be performing, "Storyland," on May 15, at 10:00 am at the Howard County Center of the Arts. Please come out and support your friends and classmates.

Spring Performances on the Way!

Students attending Drama Kids Classes are preparing to show off what they have learned this past year in our spring performances. Our performances will be held at the Howard County Center of the Arts on May 15th. They will be presenting three different plays. A play called "Storyland," which takes place in a magical land. A play called "A Slice of Life,"which takes place in a park, and lastly, a play called "The Kidnapping of Kitty O'hara," that takes place in the roaring 20s. We are very proud of our students and we cant wait to see what they have prepared for us! It will be quite a show!

Hello Parents and Students!

Our students are very excited to perform some fun-filled miniscripts, improvs, snippets and speech exercises for all of our Drama Kids Parents, Family and Friends. Saturday's Class at Mt. Hebron

I had the pleasure of visiting our Combination Class at Mt. Hebron Presbyterian Church this past Saturday. What an amazing group of children! I thoroughly enjoyed watching them learn and perform. Cheryl did a fabulous job teaching them the Drama Kids techniques and the students did a fantastic job performing the tasks given them. HALLOWEEN/FALL HARVEST WEEK!

We will be celebrating Halloween/Fall Harvest next week. All students are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costume or bright fall colors. The students will enjoy special theme-related activities. If you haven't signed up for Drama Kids already, be sure to do so before next week so YOU can join the fun!

GREAT CLASS AT BETH ISRAEL!

Classes began this week at Beth Israel Congregation. The students had lots of fun and thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities -- taught by our newest teacher, Mr. Chris Gavin. CLASSES BEGIN IN OWINGS MILLS THIS WEEK!

Just a quick reminder that classes will begin this Wednesday, October 7th, in Owings Mills! The first class, ages 5 - 9 will begin at 4:30 pm. Classes began today at Dayton Oaks Elementary School. The children had a wonderful time with Ms. Cheryl Bowley, our lead teacher. The energy was amazing!We are very excited to have the opportunity to return to this school and share our wonderful program again this year!

BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT AT ELKRIDGE LANDING MIDDLE SCHOOL

We were at Back-To-School Night at Elkridge Landing Middle School this evening and it was absolutely AWESOME! We met so many parents and prospective DRAMA KIDS. We were able to "spread the word" about our incredible program and enrolledt several new students. We saw Steven and Austin, two of our Acting Academy students and Gracen, one of our Upper Primary Students. Many thanks to Principal Stokes for allowing us to be a part of your fantastic evening!

First Week of Classes - A Huge Success!

Well, we finished our first week of classes and what a blast! It was so much fun meeting the new students and watching our teachers do what they do best -- teach drama! Thanks to all of you for making Week 1 a huge success!

CLASSES STARTING IN CLARKSVILLE AND AT VETERANS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

We are excited to begin classes tomorrow at The River Hill Meeting Room (Community Program) at 5:30 pm for ages 6 - 11. TRADE SHOW AT ST. JOHN'S PARISH DAY SCHOOL.....

Drama Kids is pleased to announced that we will be conducting classes this year at St. John's Parish Day School in Ellicott City. Today, thanks to Ms. Melissa Parlette, after-school coordinator, we were able to meet and greet the students and showcase Drama Kids at their Vendor Trade Show. Many thanks to St. John's and Ms. Parlette, and we look forward to a successful year at the school!

We're counting down the hours until our fabulous Fall Program begins. This week (September 14 - 19) we will begin classes in Howard County. Our classes in Owings Mills begin on October 7. Cheryl, Chris and I can't wait to see all of new and returning students! We are going to have a fantastic year!
