Saturday's Class at Mt. Hebron

I had the pleasure of visiting our Combination Class at Mt. Hebron Presbyterian Church this past Saturday. What an amazing group of children! I thoroughly enjoyed watching them learn and perform. Cheryl did a fabulous job teaching them the Drama Kids techniques and the students did a fantastic job performing the tasks given them. HALLOWEEN/FALL HARVEST WEEK!

We will be celebrating Halloween/Fall Harvest next week. All students are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costume or bright fall colors. The students will enjoy special theme-related activities. If you haven't signed up for Drama Kids already, be sure to do so before next week so YOU can join the fun!

Classes began this week at Beth Israel Congregation. The students had lots of fun and thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities -- taught by our newest teacher, Mr. Chris Gavin. CLASSES STARTING IN CLARKSVILLE AND AT VETERANS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

We are excited to begin classes tomorrow at The River Hill Meeting Room (Community Program) at 5:30 pm for ages 6 - 11. Drama Kids Summer Camp has new and exciting drama activities each day for non-stop fun. Learn acting skills and star in a special end-of-camp performance. Join us for a dramatically fun summer!

DKI SUMMER CAMP -- AUGUST 3 - AUGUST 7 -- for ages 5 - 13. The camp theme is "ONCE UPON A TIME . . ." The Camp will be held at The Hawthorn Center, 6175 Sunny Spring, Columbia, MD 21044. Full and half day options are available. Full day tuition is $250 (9 am - 5 pm). Half Day tuition is $150 (9 am - 1 pm). Students to bring bag lunch and 2 snacks(if full day and a snack if half day. Camp curriculum includes a unique combination of fun and creative theatre and speech activities, such as mini-plays, silent scenes, dialogue development, partner performances and theatre games. The camp will feature the play "Fancy That" - specifically written for Drama Kids International.
